As of June 1st, Mount Mansfield Villages is operational! Doctor Visit We have volunteers who have been through a training to prepare them to assist MMV members, and all volunteers have passed their background checks.

We have a growing list of members who can use either our online “service request” system or their telephones to request a variety of services, such as a ride to the doctor’s, a weekly “check-in” phone call, or assistance with changing a light bulb in a difficult-to-reach location.  Click here to see a complete list of the services MMV currently offers.

Please get in touch if you’d like to explore becoming a member, volunteer, donor, or commercial service provider.  For more information, you can explore this website or call us at (802) 858-5381.

Mount Mansfield Villages Update, 11/7/2018

Mount Mansfield Villages (MMV) is moving steadily toward an early 2019 launch date in the Cambridge, Underhill, and Jericho communities.  We have received our non-profit status, selected the Helpful Village platform to manage members and volunteers, and are building our MMV website.  Volunteer policies and intake forms have been prepared, as have membership applications.  Two members of the Board of Directors attended the national Village to Village Network conference in San Diego last month and came home brimming with ideas and information from workshops and networking.  Please see the October Network News for more information about the conference.

The Board is excited that our multi-year project to bring a Village to our area of rural Vermont will soon become a reality.

If you would like more information or would like to help with the final stages of development, please e-mail us at mountmansfieldvillages@gmail.com
